Canvas prints are also popular as a canvas art or a stretched canvas. It is created with the help of a stretched or gallery wrapped canvas displayed on a frame. An image which is ready to be displayed can be given the form of a canvas print. It becomes incredibly versatile when such a form is given. A family photo, holiday photo or any of your favorite pictures can be printed on a canvas to give it a good form. In simple terms canvas printing gives you the freedom to have anything you wish to have.
Gloss Canvas and Matte Canvas are two of the main patterns in which canvases are available in the market. A gloss canvas is a white canvas that can be primed with a satin finish. For high clarity there is a special type of resin used that coats the ink with which the canvas is printed. This prevents the canvas from getting faded and the longevity of the printed canvas is retained. Studio portraits and images with high clarity are well reproduced with the help of this canvas. Another type is the “Premium Matte Canvas” which is a bright white canvas made with poly-cotton. It is thicker but has a nice texture.
Coating is one of the most important final touches that need to be applied to a canvas to give it a great look and feel. It also protects it from humidity and dust. Coating is not an option but a necessity for photographers and artists. A canvas may be trimmed and glued to a wooden surface to give it a sober look. Well polished wood frames increase the essence and standard of a canvas. There are innumerous options available once you peek into the canvas market but a canvas print becomes perfect when you choose the perfect canvas and go for the perfect blend.
