Louis Vuitton bag problems?
What are the characteristics of a real Multicolor Monogram Canvas Papillon 30?
First ask yourself these questions?
Was the price too good to be true?
Was the seller trustworthy
Did the seller offer a return policy?
Did the bag come with all the proper paper?
Did Louis Vuitton even make that bag in multicolor?
Do the details match the authentic photos?
Is the interior raspberry (for white) or mushroom (for black)?
Does the bag have any RED LVs? If it does…it is fake.
For white… the color combination of LVs should look like this:
1. fuchsia, black, green
2. dark yellow, dark pink, dark purple
3. dark blue, chartreuse, light blue
For black… the color combination should look like this:
1. fuchsia, white, green
2. dark yellow, dark pink, dark purple
3. dark blue, chartreuse, light blue
Every multicolor piece should include a total of 33 silk screened colors: 9 different colored LVs, and 24 different colored qua-trefoils and fleurs. Of course this will NOT be true on an authentic multicolor item that is too small to include all 33 colors.
Most multicolored bags have 6 pointed star shaped hardware on the underside…rather than 4 pointed Phillips head screw backs. They should have a “30″ under the end tab…and the date code should end in a 3, 4 or 5.
Do note, that there are some really good fakes out there…so the only way you can ascertain authenticity…is to take the bag to an authorized LV distributor…
