Netbooks are everywhere, on buses, trains, planes … and in the classroom. It seems the little netbook has come from nowhere to become extremely popular during the night.
But what a netbook?
Laptops usually have screens of 10 inches or less, runs on Windows or Linux and usually sell well below $ 500. As its name suggests, the objective is to sustain its owner netbook well connected to the network – any where, at any time.
ASUS introduced first when it launched the first Eee PC in autumn 2007. But only last year when we saw the explosive growth of so-called mini-notebooks. Now we have many computer companies like HP, Dell, Lenovo … go all the enthusiasm for a portable laptop. So much so that the netbook is now the fastest – industry growth laptops and is expected to reach 139 million units in 2013.
Why is there sudden popularity for small netbook? Perhaps the answer lies primarily in our ongoing quest for mobility. We want a portable device that will keep us connected to the Internet, while being lightweight and small enough to be carried all day. A true ultra-portable device that keeps us in touch with family, friends and the web.
The next question we must ask, why not do for laptops netbooks connoisseur? If the reasons are not enough, try the following:
Size
Netbooks are small samples of 10 inches or less, which makes them ideal for students. They are also usually very small – 2 to 3 pounds. They are compact enough to carry in your purse or backpack, and small enough to wear all day without developing a hernia.
Portability
As mentioned above, since the netbook is so small and compact, very portable. A very mobile we can use to stay connected the Internet and friends. Connectivity is one of the main features – is connected to the Website at any time.
Robustness
Most netbooks are designed to be robust and resilient. They can take some hard knocks and still working. Students are not exactly the sweetest creatures on the planet, so a robust machine is difficult to manage requirements in it.
Battery

While the netbook storage is constantly increasing, is still far behind the storage type you find in an ordinary laptop computer. In general, most devices about 30 or 60 GB hard drive should be sufficient for the needs of most students. Many netbooks new 160 GB of storage.
Price
Perhaps the main reason for student laptops netbooks is the price, perfect. Students are usually a very limited budget and low price-tag is an adjustment perfect. Many machines are now perfectly adequate in the price range of $ 300 to $ 500 – while many bills well below $ 300. Moreover, prices are falling continuously, so that almost any student can now afford a netbook.
As you can see, the only netbook has many features to make a perfect student laptop: small, very mobile, but was very strong, long battery life, good performance, safe storage and, above all, a very affordable price almost every student is entitled.
